Kaleidoscope, — What do you like the most in your life? As an ordinary woman, what I like the most is money, money and money, for some reason the 5 alphabets are so beautiful to the ear, and it’s so fun to hold them, actually don’t need to use them, just hug them or use them as a bedding, it feels like all heart diseases and diseases in the body suddenly disappear, does anyone agree with me, who doesn’t agree is also okay.
Then will money be able to buy someone happiness? Maybe the answer can be yes and maybe not. Some people out there will feel more and more empty, even though they have billions of money, even though they travel around the world, they will still find a point of emptiness, it’s nothing, because out there, there are many who are wealthy but their families are messy, broken homes and still not satisfied with their respective spouses (cheating yeah), there are those who have assets everywhere, but stumble upon corruption cases, then where is happiness located? in quantity or in quality of life.
There is something I’ve heard, if money is analogous to goat poop, surely people will be disgusted to pick it up and don’t even want to pursue it desperately. Then what is the right concept, so that money continues to flow in our lives?
There is another modern proverb that we often encounter on any social media platform, be it IG, TikTok, Facebook. “Money is not everything, but everything needs money.” or the more extreme “There is money, brother is loved, there is no money, brother is kicked.” Or there is what I usually hear from some people “The favorite son-in-law is the one with a lot of money and a lot of sawer to the in-laws.” Money is so delicious, it can be used as a tool of honor for anyone who has it.
Money can also be the main source of commotion in relationships, a family and friendship can be broken apart, just because of a matter of debt that is not paid on time, or in other cases of fighting over inheritance, it’s like fighting over anchovies in one plate, the fish runs out, the plate breaks apart, so that the broken plate injures many parties who fight over it, bloody gaes! So chaotic because of this one inanimate object, which we call “MONEY.”
Money

If friends feel stuck in financial problems, then remember the many things we get where the value is more than just rupiah or dollar, maybe my writing can’t help your ATM increase, or be able to pay off your debts, but I’m sure, my writing will provide a little oxygen in your life, that life is not limited to money alone. There is something more valuable than that, which is your time and your life. Those two things can never be redeemed by money, and cannot provide any benefit at all, if life and time have been taken away.
According to Jim Rohn:
“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you can’t get more time.”
According to Warren Buffet:
“Patience is the key to building Wealth.”
Speaking of Warren Buffet, you will always be amazed at his simplicity, he is dubbed as “The Oracle of Omaha,” which means not only an accomplished investor, but a figure whose life reflects wisdom, simplicity, and belief in the fundamental values of life.
We can take an example from Warren Buffet’s down-to-earth figure, and can take important lessons that I have summarized, as follows:
– Never stop learning. Buffet reads pages of books every day.
– Manage money wisely. He never spends his money on unnecessary things.
– Build a reputation, if our language is now viral, it is to build personal branding, which means it must be in harmony with good character in it. Eh, but don’t be bothered, sometimes we try to do good, but there are some people who deliberately create a bad narrative about ourselves, but life must go on, you must continue to offer your goodness, and let God alone the intentions in your heart be judged. Period!
– Enjoy what you have, being rich doesn’t have to be luxurious.
And finally, for us Muslims, as you all know, it feels like our ears are full of advice to be grateful, grateful and thankful, but what is the meaning of an advice when we throw it at someone with a background: poor, homeless, every day starving for a piece of change to get a packaged rice and a glass of sweet tea, it doesn’t feel appropriate, we send the advice “never mind, you just be grateful, it’s fate”. Is that a solution or does it just make them sadder.
Hey…if you understand, they’re already more than grateful themselves, of course when compared to me who is actually well-off, but completely forgets to thank Him, it’s nothing! I’m angry at myself, of course! I always fail to be grateful, but I come back to my senses when I see those who struggle with the heat of the sun, busking along the streets, in order to earn some change that they bring home, even if it’s just to buy 1/4 kilo of eggs!
I close my writing with a sense of pleasure and realization, I want to write a lot of my appreciation to the creator, that I am still alive, still able to breathe, still have a loving husband and children, still able to sleep soundly with air conditioning, still able to buy basic necessities without feeling suffocated, still given a blessed job, still have my mother, aunt and uncle who love Sajak very much, a decent two-wheeled vehicle, guarded from bad friends, brought closer to friends/friends who are so sincere and authentic, always given ease and a way out when they get into trouble.
Thank you Allah for the physical perfection that you give, the beautiful trees, the shade of the sky, the breeze that feels warm to the soul, everything is more valuable than the sheets that are worth the rupiah…
Have you appreciated your Creator today?
If so, let’s worship and praise together
Every time,
Every moment,
Every conscious moment.
